It is an ancient Chinese art having mainly Buddhist focusing the mind and opening the joints one releases mental chatter within. With daily practice over the years one opens the door to spontaneity and greater aliveness. It tones the immune system and the resulting harmony can promote personal growth. It is a form of exercise and meditation only and so is useful for stress and lethargy. Practising Tai Chi allows a person to take charge of his own health aiming for the highest possible state of the body mind and spirit – hence the supreme ultimate: Tai Chi.
